Following a Land Economy degree from Cambridge, Simon qualified as a chartered surveyor with Knight Frank & Rutley, spending five years in central London commercial estate agency. After four years as Property Director in a commercial development company, he founded PPC in 1991.
Allison graduated from South Bank University after studying building surveying and architectural design, and has worked within the commercial and interior fit out sector since 1997. She became a designer for PPC in 2001, and combines a passion for good design with a thorough understanding of underlying modern construction principles.
Caroline gained a degree in Interior Design at Bournemouth University, going on to join a leading office design practice. She joined the PPC design team in 2011. Caroline works with clients and the PPC contracts team to interpret clients’ briefs, applying innovative design strategies to create working environments that deliver spaces that meet and usually exceed clients’ expectations.
After obtaining a City & Guilds in mechanical engineering, Lee moved into construction and has worked on prestigious projects, including The Tower of London, Buckingham Palace and renovations following the fire at Windsor Castle. Lee is very experienced in negotiating costs and drawing up detailed schedules of works and costs for fast track design and build.
Venetia has 10 years’ experience of project managing the furniture procurement on PPC’s clients’ projects, from specification to installation and after care. With a degree in Business Administration, she uses her extensive organisational and project management skills to support the pre-contracts team. She is also responsible for managing the day-to-day administration and operations of the firm.
Chandra joined PPC in 2010 and runs our Accounts office. Building on a career in both the public and private sector, she is very experienced in managing the complex technical and statutory challenges involved in managing payroll, CIS, pensions and numerous other areas. She is following the Association of Accounting Technicians professional standards exams.
Design & Marketing Assistant
Catherine is following a course in Interior Design with KLC in Chelsea. She joined PPC in 2016 to assist the designers with space planning, specification and selection of materials according to proposed design and budget, creation of concept designs, mood boards and all other design-related requirements. She also assists with the firm’s general marketing materials.
Rufus started in the construction industry in 2014, gaining valuable experience on site before moving into a sales role with a fit-out company. He joined PPC in 2016, and works with the project directors and designers to advise clients with the planning, design and negotiation of costs for their office fit out requirements.
Karl Watson BSc (Hons.), BEng (Hons.), Dip OND, DipHE
Karl Watson BSc (Hons.), BEng (Hons.), Dip OND, DipHE heads up the construction team. With over 20 years’ experience within the construction industry, his career experience is exceptional. From client-side project management through to traditional contracting and design and build, every element of the contract and construction work is executed with precision. Karl builds the team around the client and the project requirements, creating an easy transparent route to completion and a pleasant experience for all involved.
Buyer / Contract Coordinator
Rob has been in the construction industry since 1992, joining PPC in 1999. Starting as a carpenter on site, he was promoted within the firm to Contracts Co-ordinator in 2004. Rob’s attention to detail and management of the supply chain ensures that all materials and suppliers are on site when required in line with the project programme and cost plan.
Junior Project Manager
Dmitrii is following a Masters at the University of West London. He joined PPC in 2017 to support the contracts office in the preparation and delivery of site documentation.
Mark, also known as Boris, has over 37 years’ experience in the construction industry, gaining an ONC in Building Technology and City & Guilds Advanced Craft. He has a broad knowledge of different trades and a keen eye for detail. He joined PPC in 2006, working up to Site Manager within a short period of time. He has completed the SSSTS course and is PASMA trained, as well as being a certified First Aider.
Trained as a City & Guilds carpenter and joiner, Mark has been an on-site manager for more than 15 years. He joined PPC in 1998, eventually being made a Site Manager. He has completed the SSSTS course and is PASMA trained, as well as being a certified First Aider.
Terry De St Aubin
Terry started in the construction industry 1995, doing his apprenticeship in carpentry and joinery, as well as gaining NVQ levels 1 and 2 and Advanced Craft. He joined PPC in 2000 as a carpenter, and became a Site Manager in 2003. He has completed the SSSTS course and is PASMA trained, as well as being a certified First Aider.
Bogdan started in the construction industry in 2008, joining PPC in 2017. As a site supervisor and then site manager, he has completed complex projects including Considerate Constructors sites. He is certified to SMSTS, including First Aid, Fire Warden and Asbestos Awareness.
Jim started in the construction industry in 1992, joining PPC in 2017. He has completed complex projects as a project manager both in the UK and abroad, including ensuring certification and compliance on BREEAM and Considerate Constructors sites. He is certified to SMSTS, including First Aid, Fire Awareness and Asbestos Awareness.
Lukasz started in working in the construction industry in 2002. He joined PPC in 2008 as a handyman, and worked alongside skilled trades gaining valuable experience. In 2015 he became a working foreman and then Site Manager. He has completed the SSSTS course and is PASMA trained, as well as being a certified First Aider.
